When ameritech dropped Usenet I started using eternal-september.org It's free, it's a real nntp feed (not a web page) and it works well enough for me and did I mention it's free ? I sometimes get a "Too many connections" error message during European prime time (eternal-september is based in Germany) but there are times when being unable to read or write to roff is a feature not a bug. ;-) -- Ken Fortenberry |

For those that care, "eternal-september" is the "new" Motzarella.org...fortunately or unfortunately for USENET, I don't think the name change was warranted... http://www.eternal-september.org/ TC, R |
