Tierra del Fuego & FF mag.

Hey Pirate or anyone else,

Not sure if you subscribe to Fly Fisherman magazine or not, however I see
Tierra del Fuego made the front page. I haven't had an opportunity to read
the article yet.

Have you and if so, is it a good depiction of the location?

Thanks,
JT

I used to subscribe. What's it say about it? There are a few places
in TdF, most of them in the Argentine portion of the island, around Rio
Grande. In fact, most of the estancias are on the Rio Grande River.

I went much farther south to the Irigoyan River. The Grande is
bothered by high winds making an 8 or 9 weight the best rod, whereas
the Irigoyan has less wind, is a much smaller river (with just as big
sea run browns) with its banks protecting you from what wind there is.
I had no trouble with a Sage 7 weight. I'd go back in a second!

Dave
