Six, four letter words. All six use the same four letters. Four
different letters.....no repeats. All six words are in very common
English usage......at least one is seen by the vast majority of
American English speakers (and, presumably, a very high percentage of
the rest as well) virtually every day, spelled out in large sans serif
block letters. None of the six has any commonly accepted variant
spellings.

What are the six words?

Yeah, but I am not too sure of the "opts." Now "Tsop" is a whole
nuther lebel, or maybe that old standby "Stpo."

Quick. Nicely done. Did you happen to know this already?

Here's one that's a little tougher:

Three common 8 letter words. All three are adjectives having to do
with the same broad category of biological necessity. All three begin
with the same letter. Two begin with the same two letter sequence.
All three end with the same two letter sequence. Two end with the
same three letter sequence. There is one repeated letter.

it might take a while but given all those hints anyone with ancestors
should be able to get this one.

No, but without the clue that one of the words was seen by almost
everyone virtually every day, it would have taken longer to find the
starting point.

No, but without the clue that one of the words was seen by almost
everyone virtually every day, it would have taken longer to find the
starting point.

Yeah, I dithered for a while about whether to include that clue. I
discovered a long time ago that this is the most difficult part of
creating puzzles.....the hints/clues/questions/directions/etc. have to
be challenging enough to hold people's interest, and at the same time
simple/easy/leading enough to avoid having them throw up their hands
in disgust ane walk away.

All that said, I still think you did a fine job.
