I had to go today - tomorrow is my grand daughter's birthday.

SOS, different day. Picked up a lot of fly tying material. Didn't try any
rods, however. The place was fairly well packed with old men and old ladies.
Don't these old folks work any more? ;)

Those going tomorrow or Sunday..... stop by the Sci Anglers booth. They will
be coming out with a new line to leader connection that floats, acts as a
strike indicator, and is easy to put on. It passes through the tip top a lot
easier than a loop to loop or one of the leader links thingies. Only problem
is -- you hafta use Sci Angler leaders. Great idea, however. So, take a look.

I'll be. Proprietary leader connections. Can't find this doodad on the
SciAng web site, and it's likely I won't make the show. How is the end
of the SciAng leader special, to make it fit the connector?

I was told it won't be on the market for at least a couple of months, and that
LL Bean will probably be one of the first outlets to sell it.

The end of the leader connector is probably designed like the end of the line
connect. A simple knot tied in it, not unlike the leader links that some folks
on roff use.
