09 was a pretty good season for me. Here's a pictorial review for any of
my old ROFB buddies who might be interested.

I didn't catch near as many bass, or as big bass, but I did to
something I have been trying to do every year in the 8 since I
retired. I went fishing every single day in 2009. Some days I stood on
one foot in my bass boat casting for bass for hours, some days I
fished for bluegill for a few minutes from my dock. But I fished some
every day.

Thanks Rich. I was feeling down after talking to my Marine son who is about
to deploy to Afghanistan. Your post gave me a little sunshine.

That's a goal that I aspire too, Ron. Another year or so, and I'll
re-retire, and give it a go.

Heck, I just want to get where I can take a long vacation again like I did
when I was a kid. We used to take camping fishing vacations as long as a
3-4 weeks. My favorites were camping way up Lake Powell. Fishing everyday,
sunfish off camp, catfish anywhere, bass off deep breaks, and stripers in
open water every morning and every evening, and along vertical faces all day
long. Throw in an occasional pike or walleye and look out.

Probably easier, weather-wise, for me here in middle Georgia than it
would be for you. But where there is a fishing will there is a way!

I didn't bolt abreast as abounding bass, or as big bass, but I did to something I accept been aggravating to do every year in the 8 back Iretired. I went fishing every individual day in 2009. Some canicule I stood on one bottom in my bass baiter casting for bass for hours, some canicule I fished for bluegill for a few account from my dock. But I fished some every day.
