I just gotta ask - how in the hell did a guy from Australia wind up hearing about a small-town Texas newspaper...? I mean, I know it's a, um...well, world wide web and all, but still... TC, R |

TC, R R Been reading this newsgroup for about 13 years ever since I had the internet put on. Heard about the mag as Frank said, the article about the Killer Eel which was posted here a while back and now read it once a month online with a wicked grin each time - it's a diamond in the ruff, a bit like an Elk Hair caddis; not much to look at, but a dynamite fly. Now onto your second question... I believe Frank is a Ninja! His tales of fumbling on boats, tripping on anchor ropes, nuclear powered magnifiers, are a ruse. I suspect "Snowed In" madness got to him and he went to the pound, picked out a Ninjarish looking dog, trained him in the ways of the Ninja (and fly-fishing - of course), then placed the dog in San Leon, Texas - near the Mayor's house. Tight Lines. Rob. |

Oh me, oh my. I've lost my puppy (had to "loose" him as he was eating me out of house and home). Got some of this great stuff from Wolfie http://www.wisn.com/health/16166778/detail.html to give him that really spooky look. Kinda got used to having him around the house. Stubbed my toes in the dark a bunch of times since since I sent... uh, lost him. Frank Reid |
