On the one hand, I kinda feel as though I should have posted something
sooner, but on the other, there isn't much to report. In between, I've
managed to get broadband (DSL) installed here, so I'm lovin' life on that
front. It looks as though I'll be holding on to the old email & FS website
through the end of the swap, however, so no worries there. I'll fill
everyone in on my new email addy as soon as possible/necessary.

As of my post office visit yesterday, I've received five sets from the guys
who either started early or tie fast. Other than that, I'm assuming
everyone is busily cranking out their 37.

The early birds a
Frank Church
Dave Martel
Big Dale
Larry Schmitt
Bob Weinberger

I've been advised of several sets in transit, but nothing else is here as
yet. For all of you tying TBD's, a brief examination of what's in your vise
would be appreciated; but if you want to just surprise me, I can live with
that.

Joe,

I am about half done and am tying a Demon Bugger. It's a weird
variation of a wooly bugger that I saw at a fly shop and thought looked
cool. I should have them all finished and in the mail in the next week
or so. Should definitely have them in the mail by 10 Feb.

My 37 have been sitting on my desk for over a week. They need labels, some
wrapping and postage.

Have been trying to learn how to do the no-hackle BWO.

Relax. I have them. You sent them to the old PO box address, & I don't get
down that way as often. I just picked 'em up.

(There's one more set waiting there; but I didn't have time to wait in line
to get 'em. I'll see who that is tomorrow; so if you sent your flies to box
42272 & I haven't acknowledged getting 'em, that's why.)
