"That's pretty disgusting...They should prosecute him!"

My son fished that tournament, and called me to tell me about that.
Maybe they should have pressed charges against him...but the
embarrassment in front of his peers, and banned for life, are pretty
harsh pills to swallow for him!

It was a pretty rough tournament all around...three days of temps
approaching 120 degrees. A lot of the pros suffered heat exhaustion, and
one had to be life flighted out in serious condition. All the top pros
said it was the toughest tournament they had ever fished!

Hi John, hope your son did good.
As far as embarrassment, well it didn't stop him from doing it. Maybe
the thought of a big fine and some jail time for fraud will deter the
next knuckle head that thinks he can get away with it.
My .02. YMMV

The more I think about it, the more I think you're right. The guys that
strictly follow the rules, and play by the book, deserve to expect a
fair game...all the time!

John has always done very well in that tournament....a 1st, 3rd, 4th,
and 5th in the past 7 years, but this was not one of his better
ones...he finished 30th. He said he had a great pre-fish, but when the
tournament started, his go to patterns disappeared on him. :)

BTDT...Kinda takes some of the fun out of it when you have to start
all over again.

Sorry Ass Low-Life Cheating SOB,

He had better consider himself lucky this wasn't a local tournment in South
Louisiana; They would have either found him beaten to a pulp somewhere
along a river levee, or they would have found his head floating in a swamp
pond.
