(food consumed on a fishing trip does not count against

The whole thing was started as an attempt to get some of the lurkers
on our smallish message board to un-lurk and post stuff. So we had a
trip report contest with some very modest prizes. It worked fairly
well, attracting some new blood in a place that was starting to smell
of old boys and clubs.

Plus we got some awesome trip reports out of it. We're going to be
voting on the best of the bunch in a sealed poll next week.
