for no one present to proffer a slur as to ms. jackson's "black" breast
is well, surprising.

i'm proud of my brethren today.... there is hope.

By golly, there may indeed be hope for mankind, after all.

When I first visited the other end of NC, half a century ago, courtesy
of the USMC, there were white fountains and black fountains, white
waiting rooms and black waiting rooms, etc. etc. etc.

And when, on my first liberty, I made the mistake of sitting too far
back in the bus, the driver not only chewed my ass out, but looked
like he wanted to become violent.

Thanks, Wally, for posting the good news.

culture.... southern style.

when i moseyed on into sain's this morning for my semi-annual hair cut,
i was amazed to hear that the discussion centered around a tit. what
astounded me the most was that not once did i hear a racial slur
concerning the "tit".... in fact, i use the word tit loosely, most
referred to it as a breast.... a few spoke out that it was a very nice
breast.... i probably started that... but i digress.

what the reader must acknowledge, to follow my premise, is that where i
was, the barbershop, is traditionally here in the south the hub-bub of
political and social conversation and it does lean considerably to the
right.

As we all can attest Wally, certain parts of the female anatomy are
respected for their very own characteristics irrespective of ethnicity. As
all loyal followers in the footsteps of that fine Southern gentleman, Thomas
Jefferson, we know how he showed the way in his fastidious appreciation of
same.
