A Book and a film suggestion
 

Film. Ive been blown away by the SciFi film "Sleep Dealers." It is an
indie take on getting the Mexican's labor, without getting the
Mexicans. A very original dystopia. A cross border phenom. YouTube has
trailers and some chunks. Its in the rentals.

Book. 80+ Yr Gunter Grass is wrapping things up and the first short
memoir volume (2006) is a mind blower. He fesses up to a believer's
bedraggled stint as a 17 year old in the Waffen SS, and life as a
wandering ex POW in the rubble of the Reich. What Grass and Vonnegut
did with time was major.
