What do glofish and lead sinkers have in common.
Apparently, Environment Canada has issues with both.
Looks like Canada's Department of the Environment is holding up sales of Glo-Fish until a risk assesment is done. See the story at http://206.75.155.16/dfo/showfile.as...3/f04465AF.htm Also, looks like there is a move afoot to ban lead sinkers and jigs in Canada. Not sure if this will aplly to lead wraps used on nymphs, but I suspect it will. Will probably have to shift to beads completely. Is tungsten toxic? http://www.cbc.ca/stories/2004/02/17/sinkers_jigs040217 Tim Lysyk |

It may also counteract the function of even the best PFD. TL MC |
