Been Away

Well...it has been awhile since I last posted on the ROFF. I had a
pretty good fight with cancer and looks like I may have won. We'll see
as time will tell. Had a Radical Prostatectomy and some recovery was
needed. I can return to the woodshop (and build my flytying desk - a
masterpiece to be sure...heh heh) and get back to doing some of the
things I enjoy most...primarily fly fishing.

And I have figured one important thing out. I never used to drink beer
while flyfishing (after for sure) because I would have to either wade
ashore or paddle in (float tube) to only to have to get out of the
waders just to pee. Now with my prostate out, and my being incontinent
and all, why hell, I might as well let the Depends do their job! I can
put a can or three in my creel and let them stay nice and cool.

Good to be back!

Good luck in your recovery. Having lived seven+ years since my radical
protatectomy, I can assure you there is light at the end of the tunnel. Fish
and fish some more.

ahead of the game.

I think its official now. Exposure to ROFF causes prostate cancer.
