Check the airfare to Orlando?
You can find a good guide by the day at 'The Fly Fisherman' in Orlando or Titusville. -- Bill Kiene Kiene's Fly Shop Sacramento, CA, USA Web site: www.kiene.com "RUMRUN" wrote in message ... I live in Montauk, N.Y., but I want to go somewhere warm or atleast not cold. Tom Bogdan |

You wanna leave, and I wanna GET to Montauk. About 10 years back, I stayed
at the Royal Atlantic off-season. Not fancy, not too expensive. Is that place still any good, or has it gotten "Hamptonized"? "RUMRUN" wrote in message ... I live in Montauk, N.Y., but I want to go somewhere warm or atleast not cold. Tom Bogdan |

You are absolutely correct. To live and fish in Montauk is the closest you can
come to heaven on earth. The problem is its been a long and very very cold winter and I would like to do a little fishing The AtlanticTerrace is still there and like all of Montauk, it is still very un Hampton. The fishing has never been better. Fly fishing for bass , blues, weakfish and whatever (last September a surf casting fly rodder got a blue fin tuna from the surf with a cast of no more than 20') is great. If anyone ever finds himself in this neighborhood I would be happy to show him around paradise and catch fish,,,,,, boy can you catch fish here. I can tell you stories but I doubt if they would be believed. But right now, outside of cod, their is nothing doing and thats why I would like to get away for a weeks worth of some action. Within a month, you will be able to do a Montauk bass triple header (fresh water small mouth and large mouth and a salt water striper) every day of the week, but that is a whole 30 days away. No kidding about being available to visitors. The fishing here is fantastic and very much worth sharing. Montauk is one of the few places in this world that gets better rather than worse.
