Wanted: Griffin Multi Thread Bobbin

I know this is no longer made, but I'm hoping that someone will part with
one they no longer use. I was given a gift of a Kreinik fly fishing
material complete with a small booklet on how to use their materials. The
long spools are a problem for me.

Any ideas on finding other solutions would be appreciated.

Do you or your wife have a sewing machine? Use the machine to spin it on a
plastic sewing machine bobbin. Works for me.

Respool. A hand drill helps.

If it is just the spool length which is a problem, you can buy wide spool
bobbin holders. These should fit the plastic Kreinik spools.

There is bound to be a supplier where you are.

Otherwise you can re-spool the stuff onto sewing machine bobbins. These are
available in any sewing shop.

Thanks to all for the ideas. Looks like it is off to the sewing machine. I
knew there was a reason to save those old spools.
