Vancouver Island

These are very big questions. Most rivers on the Island are not open to
salmon fishing. Almost all the fishing takes place in October and November.
The best rivers are the Stamp and Cowichan. rivers with successfull hatchery
programs like the Big Qualicum and Nitnat will also have openings when the
runs are at their peak. There is good fishing available right from shore
from Cambell River South to parksville at certain times.

Try enquiring here for better information.
