Electric Trolling Motor Troubleshooting
 

I have a Minn Cota Turbo 36 that has not been used for about two
years. It is about ten years old. I hooked it up to my car battery to
test it and the prop would not turn. The prop can be turned by hand.
Is there an overload switch on the motor? Can I trouble shhot the
motor on the bench?
