Marco Island Fishing 2004

I have a trip to Marco planned for the weekend of March 12th, and, I
have access to a 27 ft. fishing boat. I am taking a buddy of mine
along and would like get him hooked-up on a couple fish. Can anyone
help a clueless, wannabe salt-water angler from Cincinnati with a few
tips? What areas? What bait or tackle? When to hit the tides? Any
good fly fising guides? We would like spend a day out in the gulf and
a day backwater fishing, with spinning tackle and Fly Rods. And the
big question,...Will we be too early for the Tarpon?

Marco Island Fishing 2004

I've fished Marco 3 or 4 times, and went with Dave Eimers,
and found him a fun guy to fish with. March
is early for Tarpon at Marco, maybe in the Keys? Check out the site
fishmarco.com, and the links there.
