depends on the water a lot of the time, I have you tried stalking them,
freelining for them, float fishing for them. Depth of water, condition of
water ?, does the water of any bait bans ?

Too many variables.
what have you tried?bread? maggots? corn? boilies? meat? worms?
what do you mean big? 20? 30? 40? bigger?
carp of any size can be caught on any baits, more info required.
