anyone know what a Dexter Wedge is?
Its some kind of bait, lure, or maybe a method.

It's a lure, which comes in various sizes, usually fairly heavy. It is a
wedged shaped spoon that if you imagine a metal rod and then take a thick
slice at about 45 degrees so the sides are elliptical and then attack a
swivel to one end and a treble hook at the other and give it a bit of
decoration you have it. Commonly about 28 gm. for long casting.
