Canned Tuna in UK

Just read a newspaper article here in the US which said that canned tuna is
pretty expensive outside of the US. Here, it's a fairly inexpensive item, even
for being sold in teeny cans. Comments?

A 4oz can of tuna is about 35p, or in your currency about 70c, round about
the same as a can of coke.

80p per can for decent John West Tuna in spring water. Nearly £1 if you
have flavouring's.
