When do you go fishing?

Hi all, i was just wondering how many of you are "seasonal" anglers, by that
i mean, what seasons do you tend to go in? Im not a dedicated angler,
although i do enjoy the odd session. I tend to only fish in the spring and
summer and very rarely fish autumn and winter. I was just wondering if any
of you guys are like this too?

I usually fish July to November regularly.

The weather is more predictable in this period.

All year round but at the moment my wife is very ill so I am grounded. I
took early retirement and up to recent events managed 3 or 4 days a week all
year round. I will be back though.

Coarse fishing, for me, is an autumn and winter sport. Ok, I'll make the odd
summer trip but the fish are mostly out of condition and there are other
fish (game and sea) to catch which are at their peak.

Cheerio,

Really, thats a lot of fishing! I used to go a lot a few years ago when i
was at school. But now with work and other stuff i find time hard to get, i
cant wait till the summer though, have a few days off and get some fishing
in. I love sitting by the bank in the sun catching a few, much better than
freezing winter days where you are lucky to get a bite! Although some may
disagree and prefer the winter months!
