Bubble float swallowed by Carp!, colour crazy!!

I was using a yellow Bubble.Float while surface fishin' a few days ago, It's
only a small job, almost the size of a ping-pong ball....Anyway, this carp,
would have been my P.B., it sucked it up , waited about 3 seconds and shot
it out about a foot in the air........I took off the bubble, freelined
breadcrust, and caught a few 5's a 6 and a 7lb'er..which is a good day for
me...my best is 9lb5oz...I was wondering why the YELLOW bubble always gets
loads of attention from surface carp,...much more than RED or
CLEAR......does anyone think a particular colour is best for certain
set-ups.....????? All the Best....FRED C

Bubble float swallowed by Carp!, colour crazy!!

With the evolution of fluoro boilies it is easy to understand this
happening.
I foul hooked a pike once that tried to eat the pike bung and got tangled in
the line!!!
