Cool underwear
Sorry, no photos in abpf. Can anyone recommend some good underwear for breathables for warm weather? I bought Vision Coolmax underwear for this purpose last year, but I think they should rename them as Hotmax. Worse than any ordinary underwear I've had. I've also heard that there are some materials that repel dirt (in this case I guess dirt=sweat). That would be a nice bonus for those long hike-in fishing trips. -- Jarmo Hurri Commercial email countermeasures included in header email address. If that's the case, then maybe some of those really wide mesh (almost fishnet) underwear that ski bums but under their polypro? They are a cottom weave, but the wide mesh doesn't trap much air so they stay very cool. (When they are put under polypro, they become huge air traps and very warm, but without a covering layer, they are quite cool.) Check out: http://www.abcunderwear.com/menfisblacpa.html for something similar. --riverman |

In warm water I wear a pair of nylon "shell" pants. In somewhat colder water I add a pair of fleece pants. In really cold water I add a pair of thermal underwear. -- Cut "to the chase" for my email address. |
