The 45 minute Bass

Went out early to mixed conditions, windy on one side of the lake, flat on
the other. I started throwing a buzz bait but couldn't buy a bite. I
switched to a speed worm and on the first cast caught a nasty backlash, As I
was picking it out the line shot tight and started running to the left. I
cranked down and set the hook on a nice LM. No picture cause I hit the wrong
button, It did however get me a nice 20 sec video by hitting the wrong
button so all was not lost. I thought the camera was jacked cause no picture
sound. Oh well. I fished real slow for the next 2 hours without a bite, Was
thinking of heading in when I reached in the bag and tied on a new SW
spinnerbait I had just gotten. Yellow skirt with a big yellow blade, Figured
I would hit the sticks and then some points with the spinner before calling
it a morning. Well it was a good call, as the bass were ready and able to
chase that spinnerbait down at full speed. I was cranking as fast as I could
and landed 4 nice LM in the next 25 minutes. One got wrapped up in the
sticks. I must have stuck him good cause I was there for about 40 minutes
trying to get that fish out of the nasty sticks. I didn't want to cut the
line as I was fishing braid and didn't want to leave the fish hog tied to a
stick, and beside this felt like a 5lb fish, I turned the boat just right at
one point and the fish swam out towards open water, not much fight left but
a good fish and yes it was stuck good, It wasn't nearly the 5 lb bass I
thought but did go a good 3 1/2. I took some picture of some of the fish I
caught and the sticks I was fishing and they are posted at a.b.p.f
