Yes, it is a tailwater, and much cooler than the LBH. But "cold
water" must be used carefully, especially in relation to other Montana
cold water streams.

Most of it is on the rez, except for maybe the last 40 miles before it
reaches the Yellowstone. Living and fishing in MT my entire life
