Trolling motor advice

I run a 40# thrust motor and we usually have ~#500 in the boat between a
couple of guys, tackle and beer. Honestly I like having the extra power
the 40# kicks out and it doesn't cost much more...

I would go longer on the pole if you are fishing from shore, heavier on the
line and lighter on the lead. Remember that a lot of times the fish aren't

I agree, not too many fish like that really dark deep stuff. But if you

I don't kill them, but part of that is I am fishing in lowland lakes in the
