Pole Fishing

I have been fishing now for 10 years, and i have been using a pole for
about 5 years now.

i would like to have a vote on who thinks pole fishing is better than
float fishing.

i would consider using a pole about 12m-24 meters out in the deep
waters were the fish will be spwaning.
And feed casters and a light ground bait so when it hits the surface
of the water it breaks...
