Mind sharing your favorite scud pattern for slow moving shallow river 4'-9'

I have my books, but I suspect there is a 'special' guide pattern out there
that is a killer color, material, or colored bead or something spectacular?

Thanks in advance, Chris

No secret here. Olive or gray Hare's Ear Plus (Antron/Hare's Ear)
wrapped over a #12-#16 scud or wet fly hook. A few wraps of lead wire
for weight under that and a shellback of poly bag material ribbed with
either extra fine copper wire or brown tying thread pulled over the
top. I also tie a pink version with ribbing of flourescent pink tying
thread. I use a piece of velcro to fuzz up the body.

Pretty standard pattern, I'm afraid.
