I haven't been to one of these show for over 20 years, when my boss who is
now retired and fishing somewhere in northern CA. took me. I remember him
saying on that Friday; "we're leaving at 11am today!" Didn't argue with
that.
So you managed to get in the pic? I'm laughing, what are the odds on
that...You'll have to point yourself out. All I purchased was a $4.00
spring tweezers for my flies.
This year we're planning on doing the Trinity trip in Oct. for steelies,
and maybe the Klamath for the salmon run before Trinity. I should have my
spey rod by then. Next year is Alaska.

My 1/50$:
Pretty much the same presentations and demos as the last few years. As you
mention, the best about the
show is to try out as many rods as you can get away with. However even
with the
expanded pond, its almost
impossible to try a twohander.
