much better.

However... I recently tried Trilene big game because I wanted a mono for

topwaters. I think the knot strength of 10Lb Trilene big game is much
greater than that of Seaguar 10LB. That is based on grabbing the line and
pulling to break off a bait.

If the stuff wears well I might put it on all of my light stuff except my
drop shot rod.

For superline I like Power Pro, but a kid I chat with on my forums has
convince me I should give Jerry Brown a try. Supposed to be rounder and
smaller than Power Pro.

the best mono line that I've used they took off the market, and I
rarely
EVER had breakoffs unless I was fishing some harsh conditions, that

Tri-Max... They replaced it with "Tournement Strength" and now that's
gone.
It was a decent line, not wonderful but good.

Recently, I've been using the "P-Line" Clear and this line seems

nice. Low memory, very castable with a small diameter and been using

the last 2 seasons and have not had a breakoff yet with it. I'm
actually
pretty impressed with it.

This is strictly speaking with spinning rig setups and with mono line,
so
I
don't know if this does anyone any good if your more into the
baitcasting
gig with braided lines. But for mono, P-Line has my money for
now....
