I'm behind schedule and late on everything since this past Tuesday. Son
and daughter in law gave birth to my first grandchild (and future fishing
partner). Her name is Reece Morgan Foles, 19.5 inches long and 6lbs 11oz.
It took 6hrs and 19mins to "boat" her at 3:19p.m. Oh and she's a beauty!

I became a grandfather last June. It is a whole different feeling, isn't
it? Maggie is probably one of the few kids that has already had her first
set of camo clothes and received a custom built fishing rod for a baptism
gift. In deference to her gender, I did build the rod with pink and blue
threads, and the reel has been carefully painted pink. :-)

Now that she's a little older, she's a whole lot of fun and it's only
going to get better. If I had known grandkids were so much fun, I would
have had them first!

I have warned all three of my sons for several years now, that when the
grandchildren starting coming, to beware. I will have endless suggestions
for her (and any others that come along) to "do this it will drive your
Daddy crazy". What goes around, comes around. Oh Lord she's going to be
spoiled rotten!!!
