I used to fish the Carolinas and always found great satifaction fishing off
the piers. Avon pier is one of them. Charter a boat but that can get
expensive. Get some othere p[eople to go on the charter with you and you can
split the cost in more ways than two. [they tak up to six people] Surf
casting is a ball. When you get down there, the bait and tackle shops are
VERY helpful and VERY inexpensive. They can advise on what to use.. Good
Luck and ENJOY!

Looking for advice on Hilton Head. We are going for a week starting June
4.
My dad and I want to do some fishing while we're there. We don't have any
sal****er gear we usually fish for Bass, Walleye, and Crappie. I guess we
will get a guide for at least one day. From what I've read there are a
couple ways to go (inner shore, near shore, outer shore). What do you
recommend? I hear there are cannals on the Island. Can these be fished
with
fresh water gear? Is there access to them or is all the access on private
property. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
