My boat has a pointed bow that we use to enter the boat from shore when

Has anyone mounted the motor in a way that the front of the boat is still
accessible for boarding?
Thanks in advance
We had a 17 foot Larson Outdrive when I was a teenager - I loved to ski
- and I built a rack to fit over the front light to sit on and steer a
trolling motor with my foot. After I bought my first bass boat - in 1974
- my dad built a plywood deck that hooked down to the front cleates - it
had room for a swivel chair and a foot controlled trolling motor, and
easy to get in and out since the trolling motor was to the side. It
worked great for him and mom crappie fishing for years.
