Love my broadband. That 12MB translates to about 30 seconds.

I live in the last house on a dead end country road. The phone wires here
are so old that at one point about 200 yards up the road they actually go
through a tree over a foot deep ... it has grown around them. I stopped
to complain to a serviceman about cracks and pops and static a couple years
ago and he told me, "I've never seen wires with so many splices as on this
road." And, when I signed up at a local ISP and gave my address he
instantly said, " OH, well if you live out there we can't guarantee you good
service, we've had nothing but trouble in that area."

Sure, I'm gullible to the persuaders and ad men and will admit I often dream
of material items beyond my reach. But, I don't REALLY want a Boron
self-casting fly rod, or a truck with built-in satellite guidance systems
for the sense of direction impaired. I AM however, tired, of a bamboo
Internet connection G Took 90+ minutes to upload that file to my
server .... which it always amazes me is in Maryland in the heart of
'Netland.
