Yes, I believe what Mike was saying is that the first clave was welcomed in
by spring rains that started a month before the first clave, and that since
that time the spring rains have NOT started a month before the clave....the
rains in other years besides this and the first - have started in
conjunction with the clave....

soo..mayhap the weather will be closer to what it was like for the first
clave, if not better.

I really enjoyed that first clave, it was like a cram course in fly
fishing....saw my first bona fide hatch and such..
