Good afternoon everyone, I am a somewhat new fisherman, and wold like to
know if there are any good places around Kingston, Ontario that I can go
fly fishing, I spent most of the winter tying flies, so am anxious to try
some of them out.

The key point here is that I got posted to Kingston in the past year. So
if anything please provide me details on where and how far it is from
Kingston.

Thanks,

Antonio

I used to live in Kingston and it's predominantly a warmwater fishery
with brookie fishing to the north. There's great bass and panfish
spots up the Perth Road and a boat or canoe will put you in touch with
a lot more. Brookie fishing starts north of Kaladar on the way to
Bancroft. Just south in the U.S. on the Lake Ontario tribs, there's
good salmon and steelhead fishing though the crowds can be unreal.
