Get a worm threader and you can thread the whole worm or a section of worm
on the hook. The worm threader is like a needle with an indent in the head
to place the nook point and you then slide the worm on to the hook.

Can someone tell me the proper way to put a worm on a hook? It seems that
no
matter how I put a nightcrawler on a hook, the fish seem to bite or suck
it
right off without a problem.
Is there a special rig or something that will make my worm last longer?
I'm
pretty fed up with casting a worm and a minute later, reeling it in only
to
find 1/4" of worm still hanging on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Frank
