pounder. My biggest was about 1.7 pounds. Just goes to show you that
there's
more to catching fish than how far you can cast. But still....it helps.

One more thing. I was looking at rod protectors for this rod and another
(Shamano Stella on a 6.5' G-Loomis). I ended up just going to Lowes and
getting the foam covering that goes over hot water pipes to keep the heat
in. Cost was about $1.25 each and it works wonderfully. My rods and reels
(they have covers also) ride in the back of my pickup, this sure keeps
them
looking like new for almost nothing.
