Default Survey: Which Artificial Bait?

Most surveys I have seen over the years that involved touring professionals
would agree with that (without specifying a particular color). I am strongly
prejudiced toward spinnerbaits, but that does not change the facts.

If you went to a new lake and could only use ONE artificial bait/lure;

which
would it be and how would you present it?

Mike

Hmm! Only one lure! Probably a 3/8 or 1/2 oz tandem bladed spinner bait in
chartruse/white color.
Reason is that one can cover the entire water column using various

retrieves
from buzzing the surface to slow rolling deep structure. Would work well
through just about any cover without hanging up badly. The chartruse/white
color would cover just about any water clarity from clear to muddy.
T-rigged blue fleck plastic worm would be my second choice.
Keep yer line wet!
