....but in general you're on the right lines. Dawn and dusk visits will show
fish activity. Mid day tree climbing with bino's and polaroids will give
another set of clues. A few free crusts (waterfowl permitting) allowed to
drift accross the water will tell you more. If the water is coloured then
leave it 'til the zooplankton clear out the spring bloom - if it doesn't go
then the water is overstocked and the fish won't be worth catching 'til
nature has whittled them down a bit.
