lucky me gets the last week of may on lake patoka
You sound a little sarcastic. Patoka isn't that bad.
i'd love to hear
location/technique/color suggestions.
Patoka has LOTS of grassbeds and lots of wood in the coves and up the rivers.
Fish should be post spawn and about everywhere in the lake, so the grassbeds
near spawning areas should hold some fish. There are several places in the
lake where grassbeds come up against deep drops.
Topwaters, buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, super flukes and supershallow cranks in
shad patterns should do well.
Plastics work well in watermelons, purple/green flake and pumpkin/green flake.
