I would think Diet, I caught some blue mouth pickerels, got that way from
eating blueberries that fall in the water on the shoreline, so says the

Dude something is wrong with them fish if they have orange tint. Do you
live near a nuclear power plant or is the water polluted from a chemical
plant water discharge?
Just kidding, it is probably like you said from the diet. I sometimes
catch
bass from crawfish ponds that look similar to what you catch. In the
sal****er marshes the redfish sometimes have blue tint to their tails from
eating blue crabs.
