Thanks for posting, Forty.

I'm thinking today of my father's brother who was badly shot up over
Osaka in 1945 while Dad was preparing for an invasion of Japan that,
thank God, never had to happen.

I'm also remembering that today is the day to remember the individuals
who made the sacrifice - and not to transfer that honor to the policies
that put them there.
