Me and Joel, the Axe, are planning to head up to an ultra-hyper-secret
spot
on the W*s*o*s*n river to annoy s*a*l*o*t* bass on the 25th of J*n*. If I
know Joel, he'll suggest an evening stop at the Bible camp on the T*m*r*o*
river to see if the hatch is on. Joel is rumored to live somewhere in the
C*i*a*o area and knows the route pretty well by now. You should give some
thought to joining us. Joel ain't as scary as he looks.

I'd like to meet some of you guys -- probably learn a lot about politics;
the art of the quick, polite, subtle, yet hugely sarcastic retort; Scotch;
and, oh yeah, fishing.

However, the 25th is smack-dab in the middle of my 10 day trip to my first
love, Isle Royale. The island and I have a "Same Time, Next Year"
relationship. Except it's better looking than Ellen Burstyn.

I do, however, have the whole summer off, thanks to SWMBO's recent law
school graduation. Lucky me. Probably going up to the Vernon (Mt. Vernon?)
creek next week. The guy Wayne I talked with spoke highly of it, as does the
Movotolioffovovooff (huh?) guidebook.
