nahh, walt's been focusin' and fishin' his new home water this season....
the catawba river.... as i quipped to jeffie the other day.... "the poor
man's penns." it doesn't have the plethora and magnitude of penns creek
hatches, but it does have some strong hatches of caddis, stones, march
browns, and sulphurs..... and bwo's, lotsa small bwo's. big crawdads and
grampers are abundant..... all making a nice diet for the trout.
that is a cool stretch op.... one of my favorites.... glad it treated ya
well.
