I have been using Energize e2 Lithium ( dispoable ) batteries in my
Pentax. The battery package says the last up to 7 times longer in
digital cameras and I believe it. The first set I used I shot up 6 or
8 128 meg chips. I kept waiting for the battery light to come on and it
never did. When I took them out they would still work but I had to let
them "rest" between pictures.

Been looking at the same camera -- can't find any info on battery life on
their site. I know that batt is a Li-Ion, which should last a while, but I
can't find any info on roughly how many shots a batt will last.

Any info?

The spare battery package I got says "up to 2 hours run time on a single
charge". FWIW, the startup time on the camera is very short so there is no need
to leave it on for any period of time.
