I've been using the same blade for over 5 years now. And with my Benchmade,
I have field dressed wild turkeys, deer, black bear, skinned and quartered
two caribou. Plus, I can open cardboard boxes and pick my teeth with the
same tool, can you do that with your kiddy scissors? :-)
