i went out yesterday at cape lookout. windy and rough, but managed some
small spanish mackeral and blues trolling with hardware. the cobia have
been biting, and the big rock marlin tournament raised a bunch of big fish
out in the gulf stream...lots of marlin caught and released this year
based on reports, plus a 70 pound wahoo. at oregon inlet/hatteras, you're
closer to the stream. pirates cove has a good charter fleet. do you have
my phone numbers? not sure of my schedule, but could probably manage a
weekend day if the weather cooperates.
