Montana Fishing report: Warm weather sparks reservoir bite06/23/2005By

Right now is the time to be a lake fisherman in Montana.
Walleyes are being boated by anglers at Fort Peck Reservoir and
it sounds like crappie action is heating up at Tongue River Reservoir.
Another option for walleye would be Cooney, where bank fishermen are
doing well with leeches and slip bobbers.
And at Deadman's Basin, a 43-inch, 22-pound tiger muskie was
caught Sunday by a troller. If you're looking for some good trout
fishing, Deadman's is also offering a good bite for bank anglers.
